Games and toys in the period of primary school age

The Bachelor thesis deals with the topic "Games and toys in the period of primary school age". In the theoretical part, I explain what the primary school age means, how it is characterized by physical, psychic and social aspects and which developmental changes are happening in this age. I introduce you to the history and the presence of various types of games and toys. I focus mainly on the appropriate types preffered by children in primary school age, including sorting options. In the practical part I found out, what is most important for parents when choosing toys. The research group consists of 10 parents of children in primary school age. The aim of the research is to find out, what games and toys are preferred by parents of primary school children in the region of Jindřichův Hradec and what are their criterions for choosing toys. I used conversation with parents for this research. The research shows, physical and social games are still more popular than electronic. For most parents, entertaining and educational aspects are important when choosing toys, but they also evaluates harmlessness, material, place of production or price.
The Jews in the Region of Jindřichův Hradec

This thesis deals with the transformation of the Jewish settlement in the Jindřichův Hradec region, which occurred due to the release of restriction laws in 1848. On the example of the Jewish communities in Jindřichův Hradec, Kardašova Řečice, Staré Město pod Landštejnem and Nová Bystřice is sketched the development in which the Jewish society in the region was proceeding. For each community are described oldest references of Jewish settlement, characteristic settlement in the 18th and 19 century based on the analysis of registers of Jews and eventually development of the community after 1848. The final chapter examines the process and the degree of assimilation of each community to the Czech nation.
